Relationship Therapy
A Safe Space to Navigate Your Relationship
I am dedicated to helping couples navigate the complexities of their relationships. Whether you are seeking to improve your connection, working through intimacy or sexual related challenges, need guidance in co-parenting, or exploring the possibility of separation, I offer a compassionate and supportive space for your journey. I am a queer and poly affirming therapist.
My Approach
Gottman Couples Therapy: Based on decades of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, this evidence-based approach helps couples enhance their relationship by improving communication, deepening emotional connections, and effectively managing conflicts. I am trained in Gottman methods, offering you practical tools to strengthen your bond.
Attachment Theory: Understanding your attachment styles can provide profound insights into your relationship dynamics. By exploring your early experiences and how they shape your interactions today, I help you develop a deeper understanding of each other and how you can show up for each other with compassion.
Somatic Work: Our bodies hold onto emotions and experiences, sometimes leading to tension and disconnection. The way we each navigate stress can differ and bring up conflict and misunderstanding at times in relationships. Through understanding your own nervous system and your partner’s you can improve communication and connection.
A Safe Space for Growth
I understand that every couple is unique, and I am committed to providing a personalized approach tailored to your specific needs. I create a warm, compassionate environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you are facing communication issues, intimacy concerns, or are at a crossroads in your relationship, I am here to guide you.
Navigating Uncoupling and Co-Parenting
Sometimes, the best path forward is to part ways. I also specialize in helping couples navigate the uncoupling process with respect and care. I provide support for co-parenting, supporting you in working together to create a positive, nurturing environment for your children. My goal is to help you transition smoothly while maintaining healthy, cooperative relationships.
Embracing a Sex-Positive Approach
I believe that a healthy, fulfilling sex life is an essential part of a strong relationship. I offer sex therapy in a sex-positive space, where you can explore your sexual concerns, desires, and boundaries without judgment. I am here to help you and your partner enhance intimacy and pleasure, fostering a deeper connection.
